why i love mr. hubby this week
because i really and truly made mr. hubby sit through FOUR 20 minute practice presentations for my class. i even made him participate and watch my "arthur" 10 minute youtube video... and i made him be interactive and answer questions, and even do my little activity.
mr. hubby offers to stay out on the couch with me while i finish my homework late into the night.
because valentines day is just around the corner.
i really really love mr. hubby because sometimes he has to clean out the bath tub drain. and usually all he is cleaning out is hair.
i love love love mr. hubby because we can decide together that it's ok to have two cookies each!

being friends with friends
sometimes i think that mr. hubby and i hangout with solos a lot.
and when i say solo, i mean single. i can't decide which way to put it is nicer.
what do you think?
i think that when we get hitched we forget about our fun life before, and think we have to move on from our friends. and then we think that mr. hubby should too.
i know that i have been guilty of this sometimes, and gosh darnet, so has mr. hubby.
shocker huh? he sounded so perfect...
but no matter what, sometimes a girl just needs a girls night out,
and a boy needs his nintendo and friends.
not all the time. that is not ok.
but every once in awhile is definitely more than ok, and probably necessary.
it's great for guys to be guys, and girl to be girls. and guess what?
it's even better when we can be friends with their friends.
because don't we love it when it happens to us.
i love it when mr. hubby, me and sally-sue go to a movie together!
and i promise that a mr. hubby likes this idea a lot!
it's sort of his favorite when you can be one of the guys! and i sure do love to be mr hubby's favorite!

kiss kiss
somehow we got started on a kiss kiss thing.
whenever one of us makes a kiss kiss noise it mean we have give a little kiss.
although this sounds pretty silly. you would be surprised at what times you or your mr. hubby remember this kiss kiss thing.
sometimes with friends, and we have to sneak little kiss. sometimes during a fight. and sometimes just out of the blue while we are doing homework.
it's surprisingly fun. and it never fails to make me smile!

the joy of eating a cheeseburger
the other night mr. hubby and i went to dinner.
and being the girl that i am, i got a burger. but that's not even the"being the girl" part that is being a girl.
in fact we both got burgers. and we gobbled them right up. our belly's were hungry!
and here's the girl in me that came out. i said that i shouldn't have finished that burger.
and then mr. hubby put me in check. and said nope. we're not going to be like that.
he said, "if i'm going to eat a burger, i'm going to eat a burger. i'm not going to feel guilty about it. i'm just going to eat it, and enjoy it. because i don't have a burger everyday."
and then the girl in me felt silly.
and thought "...yeah, i can eat that burger!"
so after all that mumbo-jumbo fuss of feeling guilty was over, we got shakes.
and that, we probably should feel guilty about.
except that we don't. the girl in me said YUM! and that shake was too good to regret!
